some easy recipes that are designed to please both parents and kids. Will they pass this father-son test?

Recipes:

Frozen Yogurt Fruit Cup

Ingredients:

1 banana

8 ounces plain low-fat yogurt

4 ounces frozen berries, or frozen peaches, thawed with juice

4 ounces crushed pineapple canned in natural juice, with juice

Directions:

1. Line 6 muffin-tin cups with paper baking cups.

2. Dice or mash banana and place in a mixing bowl.

3. Stir in remaining ingredients.

4. Spoon into muffin cups and freeze at least 3 hours or until firm.

5. Before serving, remove paper cups and let stand 10 minutes.

HEALTHY GUMMY SNACKS

INGREDIENTS

– 3 Lemons {or organic lemon juice}

– 4 limes {or organic lime juice}

– Box of Original Gelatin {unflavored}

– Stevia in the Raw

– 2 Oranges

– 1/2 Grapefruit

– 2 Cups Blueberries

– 2 Cups Strawberries

STRAWBERRY ORANGE GUMMY BEARS

Makes: 18 Servings {Per Serving: 20 Gummy Bears}

– Squeeze as much juice from the orange as a possible {should equal 1/2 cup}.

– Squeeze 1/4 cup of lemon juice and 1/4 cup of lime juice.

– Combine: lemon juice, lime juice and orange juice to make a citrus juice

– Dice two cups of strawberries.

– Add: strawberries and citrus juice to a boiling pot.

-let the mixture simmer on medium until fruit is extra soft.

– Remove mixture from stove and add to a blender or food processor.

– Add 2 packets of Stevia in the Raw.

– Blend until smooth.

– Let the hot mixture cool 5-7 minutes

– After the mixture has slightly cooled, add five packets of gelatin to the blender.

– Blend until there are no clumps.

– Add to a flat baking sheet or tin.

– Place in refrigerator for one hour to firm.

– After your gummy mixture has cooled and firmed, remove it from refrigerator.

– Cut out gummy bears with a extra small cutter. You can also use any shape or other cookie

cutters you already have at home.

BLUEBERRY GRAPEFRUIT GUMMY BEARS:

Makes: 15 Servings {Per Serving: 20 Gummy Bears}

– Squeeze 1/2 of a grapefruit into a mixing bowl.

-Add 1/4 cup freshly squeezed or organic lemon juice

– Add 2 cups of blueberries to the bowl and mix.

– Boil the blueberries & juice the same way the strawberries were boiled above.

– After the blueberries are boiled soft, add to a blender or food processor.

– Blend on high, let cool for 5-7 minutes.

– After the mixture has slightly cooled, add five packets of gelatin and two packets of Stevia in

the Raw to the blender.

– Blend until there are no clumps.

– Add to a flat baking sheet or tin.

– Place in the refrigerator for one hour to firm.

– After the gummy mixture is cooled, cut out with mini cookie cutters and enjoy!

Carrot, Cream Cheese, and Raisin Bites

(serves 2)

1 whole wheat tortilla

1 tablespoon cream cheese

1/2 carrot, grated

10 raisins

Spread cream cheese on tortilla. Add grated carrots and raisins and roll up. Slice into 10 pieces

and enjoy!
